It’s Time

It’s finally here! Well, almost. After 6 months of planning and anticipation, I leave tomorrow at 4pm for my first trip outside the U.S. We fly Denver -> Detroit -> Amsterdam -> Entebbe then drive to Kampala which is the capital city. We’ll be staying at a hotel there (safest for us white folks that stand out a little) and shuttling out to villages in the Kolira area (pronounced Koh-lee-tah) each day.

 

 

I am SO thankful to each of you that have provided the means for this trip to happen. You are partners in eternity changing moments for hundreds of Ugandans! I’m incredibly humbled by your love and support every time I think about it. This trip is short but the impact is huge!

I hear there’s some basic internet access at the hotel so I may rent some time on a computer somewhere along the trip and post an update here. Otherwise it’s my goal to stay very unconnected so my focus is where it should be. I’ll talk to you when I get back!
